What You Should Drink Around the World at Disney's Epcot

February 10, 2019

So, the cold weather in Erie is making me crazy nostalgic for warmer days. I figured it only made sense to catch up on some blogging, from my last trip to Disney (It was like 96 everyday in October), and dream of the sunshine.

This last trip to Disney was super special to me, not only because my cousin was getting married, but because we were finally going to go back to Epcot! And I was finally old enough to Drink Around the World!

When we go to Epcot, we do things a little backwards; We start in Canada and work our way to Mexico, since no one wants to start their morning with tequila! Our group of intrepid travelers (matching t-shirts included) sorted through tons of drinks to bring you the best ones to have the next time you're drinking around the world at Disney's Epcot! Enjoy!

1. Canada - Ottawa Apple

This super tasty drink is made from Crown Royal maple whiskey, apple infusion and cranberry juice! It was not too heavy to start my morning, since I wasn't feeling beer at 10 am.

Location: Canada Popcorn Cart

2. London - Pimms

Pimm's is a super refreshing drink, that both me and my older sister have drank in London! This drink is made our of Pimm's No. 1 and Sprite with fresh fruit and mint leaves mixed in! It was so nice in the balmy Florida heat.

 Location: Rose and Crown Pub

3. France - La Passion Martini Slush

This vibrant red drink is a mix of vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, and Cranberry and Passion Fruit Juice. This is one of the newer drinks added to the France Pavillion, and I'm so glad I got to try it because it was delicious!

Location: Les Vins des Chefs de France

4. Morocco - Tangerine Slush

I called this a Tangerine Slush, but it also goes by the name of Tangerine Daiquiri. It's a combo of rum, tangerine juice, lime juice, and simple syrup! It was getting crazy hot out so it was nice to sit in the shade and enjoy an icy drink!

Location: Tangierine Cafe

5. Japan - Violet Sake

This drink was one I was really looking forward too! I love Sake and had heard nothing but good things about the Violet Sake; I was not disappointed! It's delicious. It's made from Sake, purple pear, and lime juice.

Location: Garden House

6. America - Frozen Red Stag Lemonade

There aren't a ton of alcoholic beverage choices that aren't beer in America (surprise there)! So, I opted for the Frozen Red Stag Lemonade. It's made from Jim Beam Red Stag, black cherry bourbon, and lemonade!

Location: Fife and Drum

7. Italy - Bellini

The Bellini is just peach puree and prosecco, and it's delicious! It paired nicely with a slice of pizza!

Location: Tutto Italia Ristorante

8. Germany - Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Beer

Like I said, I'm not a huge beer drinker, but when you're in Germany, you're gonna drink beer. Luckily for me, this drink was super tasty, and didn't have a super strong beer flavor! It's made from Schofferhofer Hefeweizen and grapefruit juice.

Location: Sommerfest

9. China - Plum Wine

This one seems self explanatory: It's white wine with plum flavor. It was very tasty, but the wine was a little heavy on such a hot day!

Location: Lotus Blossom Cafe

10. Norway - Pear Cider

Again, this one feels rather self explanatory; It's a cider made from pears! And it was crazy good! I was actually surprised at how much I liked it!

Location: Kringla Bakeri og Kafe

11. Mexico - Mango Margarita

Mexico is the perfect place to end your trip around the world! You've already drank so much, you don't mind adding tequila into the mix! I got this super tasty mango marg, made from tequila blanco, orange liqueur and wild passion fruit and mango puree! It was the perfect drink to end our day!

Location: Choza de Margarita

So, there you have it! The best 11 drinks to have when drinking around the world at Disney's Epcot! Hopefully you enjoyed us all in our matching shirts, and got a little inspiration for the next time you visit Epcot!
